Can i draw the circos plot with data which has no y value?

I have microbiome, genotype data, and want to see just the correlation between omics features.

But there is no y variable. (Because all samples are normal.)

In this case, can i draw the circos plot using mixomics-diablo?

Hi @DaviecK,

Thanks for using mixOmics.

The circosPlot function assumes only a subset of features in each omic have non-zero weight, and it uses a different similarity measures than correlation (see ?circosPlot for more on this). But you can always change the function’s code to behave as you wish and use its visualisation style, if that is something you’re interested in.

Hope it helps
