Background predict beyond comp 1 & 2

Thank you so much @aljabadi, for fixing the color problem within the background.predict function.

I want to calculate and plot the prediction background for comp 1 & 3 rather than comp 1 & 2, but as far as i can see, this has not been integrated into the function yet. Is it possible to implement this in future versions? And is it somehow possible to tweak the sPLS-DA object manually to bypass this limitation?

hi @christoa,
We will put it on our list of to dos, but I think it will take a month before we can look into it. You could try crack the code itself, but I think it requires more than a tweak to estimate the background prediction when adding a third component.
