Dear mixOmics users and supporters,
For those interested in knowing more about the methodologies behind mixOmics (for omics data exploration through to omics data integration) and how to apply them to omics data, our next online workshop is open for registration and the teaching starts on Monday 21st October.
The workshop is self-paced and spans across 6 weeks. There are 4 Q&A live sessions, as well as many opportunities to interact with the cohort and myself, as the instructor via Slack. BYO data is encouraged: we provide advice so that you can analyse your own data with mixOmics tools as part of your learning process.
According to our past participants, a time commitment of 8h was sufficient to feel that they were progressing.

Feedback from a previous course: http://mixomics.org/2022/08/self-paced-online-course-oct-31st-2022/
We offer some small discounts for groups of 3-9 learners (but this will require a single invoice).
Pre-requisite: a good working knowledge in R is essential to benefit from the course.
After the course, you will have access to the material for 3 months, and you can ask any question on our Slack channel.
Other mixOmics news:
- A new microbial network inference for longitudinal microbiome with LUPINE. The method can be extended to other omics data: Microbial network inference for longitudinal microbiome studies with LUPINE | mixOmics
- Continuous phenotyping of multi-omics single cells with Phi-Space (currently being extended for spatial single cell transcriptomics): Φ-Space: Continuous phenotyping of single-cell multi-omics data | mixOmics
- Other webinars about PCA, PLS-DA and PLS: Webinars | mixOmics
- Our new mixOmics software developer Dr Eva Hamrud has started! Bugs be gone and we will get ready for a major update of mixOmics, with new methods
Some old news worth restating:
- Our handbook and some discount code is available here, along with R code and vignettes.
- Our discussion forum is open for questions: https://mixomics-users.discourse.group/ (we try answer once a week)
- Extensive vignettes (from the handbook) are available as a bookdown: mixOmics vignette
Thank you all for your support!
